Residents happy with new crossing
Residents of Park Road celebrated recently as the Council installed Pedestrian crossings on the road after they got in contact with Gordon who then pressed the council to provide these facilities.
The local residents had been concerned with the lack of road crossing facilities on Park Road. One of their main worries was their children crossing along the busy road as they walked to school.
After a great deal of hard work Gordon successfully lobbied the Council to introduce pedestrian facilities on Park Road. The residents let Gordon know that they were delighted by the news and the introduction of a new set of lights and Pedestrian crossings which will make their road safer for them and their families.
Gordon said, “I’m very happy the council have now introduced Pedestrian crossings on Park Road, it is vital we do everything we can to ensure pedestrians can cross the road safely and easily here in Blackpool.”
