Gordon Praises Post Service Festive Efforts
Gordon Marsden has praised the town’s postal workers and their hard work in the busiest time of year for the Royal Mail in the build up to Christmas.
Gordon visited post staff and managers at the main Abingdon Street sorting office – to chat and hear how they were coping with the increased volume of mail and parcels.
Gordon said, ‘We should all take our hats off to our postmen in Blackpool who are working very hard to make sure we all receive our Christmas mail as the weather gets worse and the amount of post increases.’
‘We have to praise postal workers in Blackpool for pulling out all the stops this Christmas. I will be working in the Shadow Business team to make sure any changes to the Royal Mail that the Government make will improve or at least keep the service as good as it already is.’
