Gordon Praised for Sponsored Swim
Gordon was praised by Blackpool Royal British Legion President Ian Coleman for his Combat Stress intervention at the charity cheque-handover presentation in the Club last week from Gordon’s sponsored swim in March. Two cheques from the swim which raised just over £1000 were handed over to the Legion and Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Blind Society. ‘I was delighted by the generosity of all the individual donations from across Blackpool – it was well worth the 22 lengths I completed at Palatine Pool’, Gordon said afterwards.
