Gordon Hosts Fundraising Tea Party
Gordon recently hosted a tea party at his consitutency office to raise money for the Royal Airforce Association "Wings Appeal", which supports RAF Veterans.
"As chair of Parliament's group for Veterans, I am only too well aware how vital it is we continue to support worthy organisations such as the RAFA. It was a pleasure to host the tea party and I look forward to further supporting the RAFA in the future!" Gordon commented after the "Brew for the Few" event.
Each September the RAF Association hold their national Wings Appeal to commemorate the Battle of Britain and the heroic sacrifices made by the young men of Fighter Command who withstood the German onslaught in what was one of the most important moments in Britain’s twentieth century history and a decisive turning point of the Second World War.
Further information on the RAFA can be found on their website.
