Gordon Fights For Improvements To Waterloo Road

Gordon has been working with local traders and residents on Waterloo Road and Bond Street who have fought for improvements to road facilities in the area.

Gordon has been working very closely with local business owners and residents in order to resolve problems the area has had with street development and lobby for improvements to the roads.
Residents in the area contacted Gordon to request help over the problems they were facing with roads and traffic in and around Waterloo Road. Problems included the difficulty of getting through built up traffic due to the lack of provisions for alleviating congestion and the need for solution to keep the traffic flowing through the road works.

Gordon worked hard with traders to bring about a solution by meeting with Council officers and local interest groups and discussing the best possible measures that could be brought in to resolve the traffic problems.

Gordon said, “I am very pleased that there has been action taken to help congestion on Waterloo Road and after talking to local residents and traders. There seems to be a resolution to the problems locals were facing with on going works. I believe most are now pleased with the new layout of Waterloo Road, although this must still be monitored.”
